Given the underlying threat of insecurity, NIMULE will pursue program objectives with a continual focus on the safety of its staff and partners. NIMULE periodically reviews all security procedures and implements strict security measures that are consistent with its internal Security Planning Guidelines. Training workshops are regularly conducted for all members of staff in personal security, communications, voice procedures, vehicle and convoy travels.

NIMULE Security Officer regularly amends and rigidly follows security measures that are consistent with our In-country Security Planning Guidelines to avoid risk and prepare for contingencies.  Among other things, staff travel in convoys, remain in continuous communication outside of the office, evaluate risk daily, employ armed guards at the office and residence, and have hardened their facilities against attack.

Given the current level of insecurity countrywide, NIMULE will pursue program objectives with a continual focus on the security of its staff and partners. Daily monitoring of the security situation and regular briefings of program staff will be used to prevent unnecessary risk.
